January 20, 2008... New England Patriots - Back in the SUPERBOWL!!
The New England Patriots have made it back again - 4 times in 7 years. For those of us that grew up watching the Patriots of the 1970s - it is now worth the pain watching so many losing seasons. The NE Patriots will play the NY Giants in Glendale, Arizona on February 3rd. GO PATRIOTS!!

January 11, 2008... What happened to our old Food Pyramid??
Rembember the Food Pyramid that we all learned in school - well it has changed. While this pyramid has changed a while ago, April 2005, the new guidelines emphasize Physical Activity, Moderation, Variety, and Proportionality. This is a good time (New Year's Resolutions) to take a good look at what I eat everyday - and work on changes.

January 8, 2008... Christmas 2007
Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Jake really got into Santa and the presents. It took almost all morning Christmas day to open all his presents, not that there were a lot, but he wanted to play with each present as soon as he opened it.

January 4, 2008... NH Primary - just how we like it…
Everyone in NH will tell you we are sick of the Consent Political Campaign Calls, the Door-to-door canvasing, the Politicians, and the media circus - and we really can get sick of it. But… deep down I think New Hampshire loves a lot of the attention and National Spotlight that comes with it.

January 2, 2008... National DO NOT CALL Registry
With ALL the Political Calls don't forget the National Do-Not-Call Registry. This is where you can put your name and phone number on a National list that should block more than 80% of telemarketing/political calls. You can register online at http://www.donotcall.gov/ or call and register toll-free at 1-888-382-1222.

January 1, 2008... Happy New Year!!
We went to a "kid" friendly New Years party last night - it was a really good time and I think the kids outnumbered the adults. It was a good way to get out on New Years when you have a little one, Jake would have kept going ALL night if we had let him.
