We made it to downtown Nashua for the Holiday Stroll - it was a good time and lots of people. Each year we end up parking farther and farther away. Jake really enjoyed the Ice Sculptures - the theme was Rudolph, they had misfit toys, the bumble, etc… I will post a few photos with some other Xmas photos in the next few days.

November 27, 2008... Thanksgiving Day

Today was a very good Thanksgiving Day - Jake had a great time and it was Joseph's 1st Thanksgiving. When you have a family and get caught up in the day-to-day grind - you tend to lose focus of being thankful for everything that is around you. So it was good for me to be able to stop for a little while and remind myself how thankful I am for Jenn, Jacob, and Joseph - and my entire family & friends.

November 22, 2008... Discovery Stop - Londonderry, NH

We finally got an opportunity to go to the Discovery Stop in Londonderry. Jake had a play-date with his friend Julia. It is a great place for kids to play - an indoor jungle jim/maze for them to run through, and many other "stops" to play at: music stop, restaurant stop, etc… Jake and Julia played for hours and it is definitely a place we will be taking Jake back again!!

November 19, 2008... TRISM - for the iPhone

iPhone Developer Steve Demeter created a new game - a sliding-block, color-matching puzzle game called TRISM in his spare time. He put it on Apple's App Store for $4.99. Just two months later, the game had earned Demeter over $250,000, and prompted him to quit his day job at a bank and start a development studio. November 16, 2008... Nashua Holiday Stroll - November 29th, 5-10pm

The Annual Holiday Stroll in Nashua is coming up - Saturday Nov. 29th 5-10pm. Nashua blocks off a section of Main Street and everyone is free to walk around. The shops will be open, bands playing, Ice Sculptures @ City hall, street vendors - approximately 30,000 people show up every year… Hope to see you there!!

November 12, 2008... WGAM - Hockey Tickets!! AGAIN!!

I won tickets again by calling into WGAM radio station!! That's 2 times in 2 weeks, this is great. Jake is going to be excited to go again - lately he says he wants to be a hockey player - a goalie in particular.

November 7, 2008... Hockey Night

We dropped Joe off at Na & Pa's and headed up to Manchester for the Hockey Game - we ended up with front row tickets - right on the glass. So we moved back a few rows (a little too much up-close action for Jake) - and who did we run into… my cousin Shelley and her family!! I was great seeing them there, not much time for small talk between puck drops. We had registered Jake in the Monarchs Kids Club before the season started - so we got to pick up his Kids Club Package and spin the wheel for a free prize. Jake had a great time - he feel asleep in his carseat in the way home.

November 5, 2008... WGAM - Hockey Tickets!!

I called into a local radio station WGAM 900AM and won 2 tickets to this Friday's Manchester Monarchs hockey game!! I have never won tickets by calling into a radio station - this is great!!

November 4, 2008... Election Day

Finally the Presidental Election Day has arrived!! I was getting tired of the advertisements, news stories, robo-calls, etc… Anyway - we took Jacob & Joseph to the voting booths, Jacob likes the campaign volunteers that hang out in front the of the school. Jake wanted to vote for Barack Obama (he decided on his own). So get out and vote everyone!!
