| August 16, 2009... Kaleidoscope Children's Museum - Manchester, NH |
| The Kaliedoscope Museum moved to Manchester in July, it was originally located in Concord. The Museum is in a renovated Mill Building - it is more like an indoor play area for kids designed for kids walking age thru 5 years old. Both boys liked it a lot - it was really good for Joe's age and will be a place he will grow into. They have a pirate's ship, a little treehouse, a padded play area for the little ones and a stage for kids to dress up and have fun… I posted a few photos: |

| August 12, 2009... Beach Day - Wallis Sands |
| I took last Friday off, packed up the car, and headed to the beach. Marc & Janine had told us about Wallis Sands State Park in Rye - so decided to go there. The beach was great, Jake & Joe went straight to the ocean - both having a great time with the waves (Joe getting knocked down by a few of the waves). We stayed all afternoon - digging in the sand, finding snails in the rocks, building sand castles… Check out a few photos from the day!! |

| August 9, 2009... Family Picnic 2009 |
| After a very busy few days - we headed off for the Towle family picnic… it was a little overcast and the rain held off just enough for a fun day. Jake had a great time playing with his cousins - Alex and Jake had a re-match from last year @ the foosball table, Jake and Sadie had a good time on the swingset and in the lake, and all the kids had a great time with the pinatas. Joe had a great time playing with Dimarco… Even @ 1 year old, Joe was far from the youngest there - 3 newest additions to the family were there - Alethea, Madison, and Hannah. In another few years the girls will be taking over "guy town" in the sandbox. |
| August 8, 2009... Pittsfield Balloon Rally 2009 |
| After Fitness U, we rested and went up to Pittfield for the Balloon Rally… We had a great time on the rides there and it was a great day for the balloons to launch. Ran into a bunch of family there - Casey, Uncle Joe & Biaggio, Andy, Kelly & Greg… We stayed as long a we could, but Joseph & Jake only made it so long - they both fell asleep on the way home. |

| August 7, 2009... Fitness U |
| We went to Fitness U's Finals Day @ Nashua High South - it was a very hot day. Jake has gone to about 4-5 of the free Clinics this summer and we capped it off with the Finals Day - a free t-shirt (which he has worn about every day since), a 200 yard run, and lots of fun. |

| August 2, 2009... Sad Day for the Butterfly Place |
| Just found out that a large section of the atrium roof @ the Butterfly place in Westford collapsed. From the Lowell Sun news article, the owner does not seem too optimistic about re-building and/or re-opening (at least until 2010 - if ever). I am glad we got to go back in February to check it out. |
