September 27, 2009... JUMP ON IN - jump party!!!
We survived the BIG "Jump Party" - we had about 20 kids (4-5 years olds). Jump On in is an indoor inflatable and jumping facility - very large slides, bouncy houses, etc… Everyone was exhausted afterwards, Jake even said "Man, I'm tired". He still found enough energy at home to open a few presents and play before crashing out early. A BIG Thanks to everyone who could come and make the day so special for Jacob!!

Guess we missed this one - held in May, in Alaska, the USA de-throned Germany and became a new facial hair super power!! We have 2 years before we have to defend our throne in Norway…

September 16, 2009... The Elements
This is a cool little song about the periodical table of elements. It is Tom Lehrer's 'The Elements' with some shockwave animation thrown in as well, the combination of the two makes this one a must see…

September 6, 2009... Interesting Arrangement of the USA
Someone re-arranged the United States into a different pattern. With all the US political party's ideological differences and the conservative/liberal back-and-forth fighting it is nice to see the USA in a different way.

September 3, 2009... 1st Day of School
Today was Jake's 1st day of school - he could not wait to get back!! Jake is going to the same school that I went to - for Kindergarten (many, many years ago…) - Jake liked the idea that he is going to dad's old school. Just like his dad - he could no wait to get out of the car and get on with things…
